MAGNI OUR LIFE SAVER
28th September 2022
Magni got a call to go to the vets to donate an emergency unit of blood for a dog that was very poorly. Magni was an absolute super star and his blood saved the dogs life. Our super hero!

PUPPIES 2022
Aili x Boomer
Aili (Dunfionn Sanda for Gailiech JW) and Boomer's (Kilnrae Hallmark JW) 'A Neigh to Her Majesty Litter' were born on 8th May 2022. 5 beautiful puppies, 3 boys and 2 girls. Once again, Aili was a superb mum.

Our Niamh joined the life saving gang and donated her first unit of blood. She was a completely star. Magni and Freyja were with their little sister to make sure she was okay.
CRUFTS 2022
Sunday 13th March 2022
What a day at Crufts 2022, not as planned as both Aili and Freyja got their timings wrong so were unable to attend, however Geech, Magni and Niamh made the trip and were reunited with Harris aka Gailiech Ngalyod, Gibson aka Gailiech Kahukura and daddy Boomer aka Kilnrae Hallmark JW, not quite the full family reunion but close.
Geech, showed well and enjoyed his time in the ring in Veteran Dog.
Magni, moved well but was far too excited in Post Graduate dog
Niamh, 3rd in a lovely Junior bitch class
In Junior Dog Gibson 3rd and Harris 4th.
So happy and proud of them all and some family photos as well.

Magni and Freyja returned to our Vets Practice for Pet Blood Bank UK, Magni donating another full unit and continued to charm the Vet and Vet Nurses. Freyja fulling just short of a full unit but very proud of her for her first real attempt.

Waverley:
Niamh and Harris in Puppy together with Niamh getting 1st in Puppy and then a 2nd in Junior.
Niamh Best Puppy in Breed, although nothing in the big ring.
Magni and Freyja in Post Graduate with Magni placing 3rd
The Gordon Setter Club of Scotland:
Niamh 2nd in Puppy and Junior bitch classes.
Magni 2nd in Graduate and 3rd in Post Graduate dog classes
Freyja not in the cards today but she showed with much more confidence and looked more comfortable in the ring.
HARRIS SHINES AGAIN AT THE GORDON SETTER CLUB OF SCOTLAND OPEN SHOW

Harris, aka Mr Brown aka Gailiech Ngalyod, had another day to remember. 1st in Puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Show! Massive congratulations to Harris, Faye and the rest of his entourage, making us proud once again.
GEECH QUALIFIES FOR CRUFTS 2022

Geech's 3rd in Veteran Dog means that he also qualifies for Crufts 2022 and completes the set. All 5 of our dogs plus Gibson and Harris means there is going to be a party at Crufts 2022 for Gailiech Gordons.

Also at Setter and Pointer Championship Show. Freyja aka Gailiech Barmstondottir joins her mum, brother, half brothers and sister at cruft 2022 with a 2nd in Post Graduate. More importantly her confidence in the ring is improving.

Harris, aka Mr Brown aka Gailiech Ngalyod, had a great day at the double header Setter and Pointer Championship and Open Shows. 1st in Puppy Dog in the Championship show. He then went into the open show and won a lovely puppy class and Best Puppy in Breed and came 3rd in Junior up against much older Gordons. Massive congratulations again to Harris and his entourage.

Our Magni, aka Gailiech Barmstonson, will be joining his mum, half brothers and half sister at Crufts 2022. Also at Scottish Kennel Club May/Oct Championship show, he enjoyed the May show classes a little too much but pulled himself together to win a nice Post Graduate dog class.

Gailiech Gordon's have taken up the challenge to raise money for Pet Blood Bank UK. They are walking as many miles as possible from the 12th September to 13th October 2021 to raise money

Our Gibson aka Mr Orange aka Gailiech Kahukura, qualified for Crufts 2022 in amazing style at Richmond Championship show with a First in Minor Puppy and a First in Puppy. So so proud of our beautiful and handsome Mr Orange and his amazing humans.

Aili, Magni and Freyja attended the first Pet Blood Bank UK donation session at our Vets Practice, Magni was successful in donating a full unit and came out wearing his red bandana with pride, Aili was just short of a unit and Freyja just wanted to play and give kisses. Hopefully this session will be repeated and the 3 of them will be back to donate again.

PUPPIES FIRST SHOW WEEKEND
Freyja and Magni
Their first show weekend was a double header: Scottish Breeds and The Gordon Setter Club of Scotland.
They loved every minute of it and were so excited by the whole experience. They did absolutely brilliantly. Unfortunately due to COVID they are waiting patiently to do more shows.
WALKS!
Geech, Aili, Freyja and Magni
I enjoy long distance walks and always have at least one of them with me. I am famous for getting lost. Geech is not one for the walks and prefers if he stays at home. Whilst Aili and I have had loads of adventures, ending up in ditches, going across streams, over walls, though gaps.... you name it we have done it! Aili loves the adventure and the more muddy we get the better. She has enjoyed doing some of the 26 mile kiltworks and is wears her medal with pride on the way home. Freyja and Magni are now old enough to come too. They have their mum's adventurous spirits. They are curently helping me train for the two 100km non stop walks I am doing this year!

Geech
What can we say about Geech. The day after we brought him home he met his best friend, my dad. An amazing bond developed. Geech knew something was wrong when we were on our walk and made me go home and he just got me home before we had to rush dad into hospital. I will never forgot that reaction on the walk, the look in his face, his actions. He just knew we had to get home as his best friend needed him

And we did it!! Aili obtained her junior warrant and stud book number. We are absolutely delighted. We are so lucky to have this amazing girl in our lives. However, Aili has asked for a break from the M6 for a while as she is fed up of all the roadworks!!
